Trash Talkin’ Survey

Household Personality Survey

The Collingwood Climate Action Team’s Trash Talkin’ group wants to know about household waste habits so we can learn new ways to help you reduce waste.

As part of our goal to increase garbage diversion rates and to raise awareness of the 7 R’s (Rethink, Refuse, Reduce, Rot, Repair, Reuse, Recycle), we are conducting a fun, household personality survey.  By finding out your household archetype, you’ll provide us with useful feedback on how we can turn waste into a resource or prevent it in the first place.

Take the two-minute survey

Please send this survey on to your friends, so they can participate as well. We are hoping to get at least 100 Simcoe County households to respond. Your participation in this survey is voluntary. All individual responses will be kept confidential and will be used only for the purposes of helping to find ways of preventing and reducing waste. Non-identifiable summaries of responses may be developed and shared publicly, but your personal information will never be disclosed.

Dillion Consulting will tabulate the results, and what we learned will be shared on our website. We will also share the results with Simcoe County Solid Waste Management, so they can design better waste reduction and prevention tools.

For questions regarding the collection, use and disclosure of this information please contact Alida Kusch at T – 519.571.9833 ext. 3121 or
